I have both these piano products and latency is NOT an issue.

RC275 and Korg Module's IAP Ivory American D are my said: Load times for the Colossus and recording is DAW's is a problem. If MIDI 5-pin is a problem then use a powered USB hub to connect everything in/out using a good audio interface for audio and monitoring.

NOTE the CCK with power port is needed and it needs to have power for the audio interface to light up. So, I added a Personus USB Audiobox (2" height, 3" deep, 4" wide): using the CCKĢ audio ins and 2 audio outs using 1/4" cabling (guitar cables and PA cables) So look for the audio in on your keyboard. It's headphone port running into my Casio with speakers works great. This device has a lightning connector and is small. My first solution was the Korg Plug key which accepts 5-pin MIDI and has it's own DAC and a volume control. The headphone out uses the iPad's internal DAC (Digital to Audio chip) and mine was prone to If yes then you're going to confront the MIDI + audio out issues to get low latency and a quality audio out. How does it sound when you use headphones into the iPad? Is that latency acceptable?
